Working on education of backward and poor childern, initiated various schemes of public welfare like supplying water to villages, Adult Education, programmes of freeing people from bad habits of smoking, drinking, etc.; worked for abolition of untouchability, cooperative movement, women`s education, gramodyoga and farmer`s federation, worked with Congress Sevadal on various youth activities and inspired them through many cultural activities like national songs, dramas etc. from 1946 to 1970
